Welcome to Matia, our line of thematically-designed and locally-crafted paper goods for the table and desktop. The line was born of a desire to explore every day sources of inspiration and refocus on the roots of my professional passion: paper, color, pattern, tactility.

We chose the name Matia, meaning "eyes" in Greek, both for its literal reference to the gift of seeing and for its figurative use as a term of endearment. Matia mou, meaning "my dear" or "my beloved", speaks to our own affection for these detailed pieces and the joy of connecting to friends, family, and now a larger community, through our craft. 

Whether housing treasured ideas and sketches or enlivening the setting of a communal meal, we hope our line of reusable paper artifacts will illuminate and enrich the domestic space - in quiet and celebratory moments alike.
